Selfie with the castleApparently the first time I went to Disneyland, I was less than a year old and obviously don’t remember it. In the 90s, Disneyland was a completely different place or I imagine it was, since again, I was less than a year. My first trip, at 25, was a good one. I got to see a lot of the things I wish I had seen as a kid: the castle in the photo, the tea cups and dumbo ride, and the Disney characters up close and personal. Unfortunately, I went during a time when it’s the busiest: right after Christmas. Some lines were over 3 hours long, which is ridiculous. I plan to go back, with less people (because honestly, I need alone time and I didn’t get much sleep) and more money. I don’t know about magical, but it was really nice.
Chowin’ down on a churro The front of Universal StudiosNow, this is the place I enjoyed the most. I love Disney and Disney characters, but Hollywood and the movies is something I have more interest in.
Doc from Back to the FutureArmed with my subtle but totally awesome Harry Potter shirt, I made my way to what is the happiest place on Earth for me: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
A truly happy JericaMy younger cousin Daniel (shoot out to Daniel) helped with my photo taking, and at times, they weren’t the best or most flattering:
But, it was awesome and I spent about 3 hours in that one section.
Butterbeer is good, but it’s basically cream soda with whipped cream on top Oh, my child self would weep (idk of happiness or embarrassment for what she has become)
I don’t get to take many trips, even if it is just a 6 hour drive from San Jose. But, I’m glad I got to experience it and I’m grateful to my Auntie Teri who made it all possible.
